Hey team! Here is a more specific dress code list for Kenya. For other information on dress code please refer to your handbook.

Ministry Dress Code:

  • Below knee length skirts. (Floor length is better, skirts must come to mid-calf, no knee can be showing even when sitting.)
  • Nice tops (No tank tops at all!)
  • Khakis or nicer slacks for guys
  • Polo’s or button down shirts for guys
  • Closed toed shoes that will not give you blisters! Bring socks if that helps.

Outside of Ministry Dress Code:

  • Swimsuit (one piece girls)
  • Guys can wear shorts
  • Girls can wearlcapris (again covering the knee)
  • T-shirts

  1. We have a general dress code, which is in your handbook that states any specifics for your country will be posted on the blog page. The blog page, then, becomes the expectation. So, if it says shirts with sleeves must be worn during ministry, then that is the code.

If you have any further questions, please make sure you’ve checked your handbook and this blog page thoroughly! Also, please keep in mind that we’ve placed our expectations on this blog site. If you’ve spoken with past team members, that’s great, but we expect the standard to be taken from this site.

Thanks, guys! We’re excited for you!
