Real Life Kenya

My name is Kyle Young.  I am 22 years old and I’m from Atlanta, GA but I’ve been residing in Maui, Hawaii for the past year as a leader for the Vineyard Church.  I am so excited to be leading the Real Life trip to Kenya.  I cannot wait to meet all of the people that I will be serving with.  It has been my dream to travel to Africa and serve since I was very young.  My biggest prayer for this trip is that God will mold our hearts.  Not just ours (the ones traveling to Kenya) but also the people of Kenya.  I am really expecting to see God move in a mighty way there.  I know that lives are going to be transformed and God lifted up.

 

I have recently been thinking about a theme for the trip.  A central-focus, of course being God, and also focusing on love.  Agape love.  Unconditional love.  The kind of love that embraces the people around you.  I am praying that God will reveal His power like we have never seen before.

 

I am asking God for many things on this trip.  That not only would we pour out love onto the people of Kenya, but we would be thirsty for Him and fed daily so that we can be emotionally, spiritually, physically, and mentally stable. 

 

I am looking forward to seeing everyone.  God, move mountains.
